Meet the Characters

An only child from Richmond, VA, living in a home riddled with alcohol abuse. She's a recent college graduate who enters the corporate world, ready to quench her heart's desire with Christopher Jackson.

Father and mother of Cierra Sykes. Mr. Sykes, an FBI forensic specialist whose anger torments his family and destroys his career. Mrs. Sykes, is a sweet stay-at-home wife/mother who is codependent on her alcoholic husband.

A Baltimore, MD native who dates Cierra throughout college. NFL bound and sharpened with an Architect degree, Chris heads into life well equipped except for one major fault that costs him everything.

A morally challenged young lady, hooked on cocaine whom Cierra meets in college. She becomes problematic for Cierra and Chris. What she does to them is staggering and life changing.

A colleague of Cierra from St. Martin who is a beautiful New York runway model. She soon learns how quickly life can change in the face of choices when she marries the football superstar, Damien Hall.

A kind-hearted Philadelphia, PA native who is best friends and collegiate teammate with Christopher.  He  is drafted into the NFL and shares a windfall  life with Rachel but not everyone is happy about his success.

A longtime, childhood friend of Cierra. She is a strong, independent, single female who graduates Magna Cum Laude and is steadfastly climbing the corporate ladder. With little time to entertain much else, her compassion is rather curt with others.

A romantic at heart and childhood friend of Cierra from an affluent, Louisiana Creole family. Her French roots take a backseat to the more northern lifestyle as she plants her feet firmly on Virginia soil.

Daughter of a devout southern Baptist preacher, who ignores her upbringing every chance she gets. Equipped with a sharp wit and abundance of laughs to match, she is never one to back down and is always the life of a party.

A notorious New York drug dealer in the Cuban racketeering business who befriends Cierra while being tracked by the DEA and FBI. His plots and schemes to take over her life are met with one courageous act by Cierra.

A Delaware native whose pro-baseball career ends with an injury but fate guides him to become a DEA agent. While in pursuit of Kyle Dexter, he encounters the lovely, Cierra Sykes and is smitten beyond reason. Conflicted, he ponders whether to engage and risk his case, Red Velvet.
